"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."

The disciples asked Jesus in bewilderment, "Then who can be saved?" They had witnessed the rich young man's inability to part with his possessions, and despair had gripped their hearts. They understood that material prosperity comes naturally to human nature, and they knew how difficult it is to surrender such wealth. Yet Jesus's response transforms how we view our lives. He reveals the limits of human ability and effort—we cannot achieve spiritual transformation through human strength alone. No matter our efforts or determination, it is impossible for us to completely surrender our desires. This is the limitation of human nature. Where then is our hope? Jesus makes it abundantly clear: "With God all things are possible." Our transformation, salvation, and rebirth—what seems impossible to us—are possible only through God's grace and power. It is God who enables us to release what we must surrender, grants us new hearts, and bestows true freedom. Today we face the same question: "Can you accomplish this?" Our answer must be certain—with my strength alone it is impossible, but through God all things are possible. In our weakness we experience God's power, and only through that power can we achieve true transformation and salvation.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Lord God, I thank You for revealing to me the limits of my own strength. You have shown me what I cannot accomplish alone. Help me to release my selfish desires and deepen my trust in You. When all things seem impossible, grant me faith to rely on Your power and commit my life to Your mighty hands. May I experience daily the truth that when I am weak, You are strong. I pray this in Jesus's name. Amen.
