📜 Today's Meditation

When we reflect on the resurrection of Jesus, we recognize it as fundamentally different from other resurrections in Scripture. Lazarus was raised, yet he died again. The widow's son revived by Elijah eventually faced death once more. But Christ's resurrection stands apart—'dieth no more.' This is the decisive difference.

When Paul says that death no longer has dominion over Him, he declares that death's power has been completely broken. Death once seemed final for everyone—kings, heroes, and the righteous alike could not escape it. Yet before the risen Christ, death is no longer the last word.

Paul expresses this truth not as feeling but as knowing—certain knowledge and conviction. This is not faith that fluctuates with our emotions, but truth that remains steadfast in every circumstance.

What in your life today asserts dominion like death—the despair that tempts you to surrender, the failures that repeat, the relationships that seem lost forever? May Paul's conviction become yours today. We know: death has no more power over Him—and through Him, it has no final dominion over us.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Risen Lord, You do not die again. Death no longer claims dominion over You. Let this certainty flow into my life today. When fear tries to assert its power, help me remember You who stand beyond death. Grant me to live this day in the confidence of resurrection. In Jesus' name, Amen.
